Dreaming of a romantic Italian honeymoon?

Honeymoon Vacation Video Editing Service by Evergreen Lane Productions

When I launched a vacation video editing service, I was worried people might think this was a frivolous idea. I mean, you’re already in the middle of honeymoon planning. Are you really looking for more advice on how to take videos? But then I started working with amazing people like Ania and Brianna, and I realized that what we were doing was more than travel video editing. We were creating an heirloom. Something that captures who we are in a particular time and place that can continue to tell our story once the time + place have changed.

I was so thrilled to hear from Helen and Sergio after my episode with the Bridechilla Podcast last year. They were planning an epic honeymoon adventure in Southern Italy after their destination wedding. If you’ve just watched the above video, you know it’s just as dreamy as it sounds. Christian and I had a destination wedding as well, and I loved every part of it, so I knew from their first message that they were my kind of couple.

Here’s how Helen responded when I asked her what she thought of the Juniper travel video editing experience:

“The instructions Annabelle had given us really clear instructions that were easy to understand and simple to use. My main worry was would we get enough footage and content for her to capture everything, but that turned out to be super easy too! Annabelle captured the holiday perfectly. All the fun we had, the beautiful scenery, the food – I don’t know how she managed to squeeze it all into those few minutes, but it was perfect!

[The Juniper is] an easy, friendly and beautiful way to capture your experiences in a video. It tells so much more of the story than a picture ever could and making the content was actually lots of fun! I can’t wait to keep the video forever and show our children one day!”

Well, I about died imagining Helen + Sergio’s future kiddos watching their parents’ honeymoon video! She summed up why I call my films “heirlooms”. I see them as something you can pass down and use to tell your family story. I’d kill to have a video of my parents or grandparents when they were my age! I have a few snippets from when my dad was a child and some from when I was young. I treasure those videos because it’s like looking back in time through my own history!
